By keeping these materials readily available, we minimize lead times, maintain tight production schedules, and ensure uninterrupted manufacturing—from reverse engineering through final machining, welding, and heat treating. This in-house material availability allows us to deliver dependable, cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or performance.

Precision Machining

Gem-Trim offers full manual and automatic machining capabilities. Our trained and highly skilled master machinists bring extensive experience and in-depth expertise to the manufacturing process. Our machinists are accustomed to working at close and critical tolerances, which enable them to effectively meet our customers' requirements.

Specialty Welding

Gem-Trim offers specialty welding processes, such as MIG and TIG. These processes are used for repairing worn control valve trim, valve bodies and overlaying application such as Stellite® and Inconel®. Our trained and highly skilled welders bring extensive experience and in-depth expertise to the welding process. Our welders and weld procedures are in full compliance with ASME Section IX. Gem-Trim offers PTA (Plasma Transfer Arc) automatic welding processes for overlaying Stellite® and Inconel®. These processes are used for repairing worn control valve trim parts, valve bodies and applications for overlaying Stellite® or Inconel® on the ID’s or OD’s of materials, such as 300 stainless, F-11, F-22 and F-91 alloys. All weld procedures performed on the Starweld 400 PTA welding system are in compliance with ASME Section IX.

For specialty treatments like malcomizing, nitriding, and vacuum brazing, we leverage partnerships with certified suppliers to deliver complete heat treating solutions tailored to your specifications.
