Gem-Trim offers PTA (Plasma Transfer Arc) automatic welding processes for overlaying Stellite® and Inconel®. These processes are used for repairing worn control valve trim parts, valve bodies and applications for overlaying Stellite® or Inconel® on the ID’s or OD’s of materials, such as 300 stainless, F-11, F-22 and F-91 alloys. All weld procedures performed on the Starweld 400 PTA welding system are in compliance with ASME Section IX.
